Robert Chartener has been on Foundation Source’s Board of Directors for over 10 years and is now serving as its CEO.
Mr. Chartener is an experienced operating, financial, and investment professional with expertise in a variety of functional areas, industries, and situations. Prior to becoming CEO of Foundation Source, he had served as chairman or CEO of several companies in the services and consumer products sectors.
Mr. Chartener was a managing partner of a small-business investment company organized by J.H. Whitney & Co., a private-equity firm founded in 1946. Prior to joining Whitney, Mr. Chartener was a co-founding partner of Winslow Partners LLC, a Washington D.C. private-equity firm investing primarily in Central Europe. From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Chartener worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in London and New York, where he was a senior member of the firm’s Principal Investment Area.
Mr. Chartener has been a board member of several companies. His nonprofit activities include serving on the finance committee of Washington National Cathedral, as a trustee of Cardigan Mountain School, and as founding chairman of The Magdalene College Foundation. He is on the board of a family foundation based in New York City, and he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Mr. Chartener earned degrees from Princeton University and Cambridge University. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.

Salvatore A. Bucci has served across diverse industries as an executive officer and member of the board of directors for both public and private companies. His expertise is in guiding companies through growth and change by conceptualizing a strategic vision, gaining buy-in from stakeholders, and then developing an infrastructure to deliver it.
At Foundation Source, Mr. Bucci is responsible for the national sales efforts, oversees operations, and serves as the company’s principal financial officer. Together with his colleagues, Mr. Bucci is focused on providing an exceptional client experience as well as maximizing company value.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Mr. Bucci served as Board Member and President at Home Partners Credit Corp., a privately held nationwide specialty finance company. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Bucci was President and Chief Executive Officer of Paligent Inc., a company holding investments in biotechnology assets.
Mr. Bucci, a Certified Public Accountant, began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, a predecessor firm to PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later joined Merrill Lynch’s real estate and insurance group, holding management positions in both finance and mortgage banking.
Mr. Bucci holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, State University of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of Financial Executives International.

As Chief Legal Officer at Foundation Source, Jeffrey Haskell is responsible for providing guidance on legal and tax issues to the foundations that the company serves.
Mr. Haskell works with and provides guidance to a team of attorneys, accountants and support professionals who provide tax reporting services to clients of the company as well as support to foundations and their advisors on a range of issues including Program- and Mission-Related Investments, grants to individuals, expenditure responsibility grants, equivalency determinations, scholarship and award programs, set-aside projects, return preparation, and compliance with self-dealing, minimum required distributions, excess business holdings, jeopardizing investments, and taxable expenditure rules.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Mr. Haskell was an associate at the law firms of Kronish Leib Weiner & Hellman LLP and Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky, in the Tax and Trusts and Estates departments. Prior to joining Olshan Grundman, Mr. Haskell worked at Coopers & Lybrand in the Business Tax Planning Group.
Mr. Haskell is involved in pro bono work for public charities and has served as an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College of Accountancy, where he taught corporate tax law. Articles by Mr. Haskell have appeared in Trusts & Estates and Taxation of Exempts magazines, and in Cardozo Law Review. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker on the rules and regulations pertaining to private foundations.
Mr. Haskell is a graduate of Yeshiva University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Cardozo Law Review. He received a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the NYU Tax Law Review.

Page Snow is responsible for the firm’s marketing and for developing and providing industry-leading education and strategic resources to clients through the company’s network of philanthropic professionals.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Ms. Snow spent over 10 years with The Pew Charitable Trusts, one of the nation’s top 10 foundations, with assets of $4 billion and annual grant commitments of over $200 million. As the Trust’s Chief Officer of Institutional Planning, she helped to design, evaluate and remodel key operations of the foundation in support of the Trusts’ model of results-based grantmaking. She has expertise in strategic planning, program design and evaluating multi-million dollar grant investments.
Ms. Snow has served on advisory committees for several prestigious philanthropic organizations, including the Center for Effective Philanthropy, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the White Oak Cultural Policy Conference, the Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies, the Arts Organization Stabilization Initiative and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Ms. Snow is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
