Katherine Holbrook Biotti, Senior Managing Director provides more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry in various senior management, business development and strategic positions.

Katherine provides expertise in private foundation administration and compliance to private wealth managers, investment advisors, regional trust companies, estate planning attorneys, tax advisors, existing foundations and affluent individuals.

Previously, Katherine served as the Vice President of eCommerce and Business Planning Services at Jackson National Life Insurance Company and Curian Capital, where she held responsibility for the strategic oversight of all web activities, business development, and other corporate initiatives.

Katherine also has worked for INVESCO Funds Group as well as Fidelity Investments, where she held leadership roles in Marketing and Operations in addition to her business-development role at the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund.

Mary Ann Stover serves as Foundation Source's Senior Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region, helping clients achieve their charitable goals through foundation administration services and customized philanthropic assistance. Ms. Stover has extensive experience in philanthropy as well as management, planning and communications.

Prior to joining Foundation Source, Ms. Stover served as a Program Officer in the Venture Fund of The Pew Charitable Trusts, then one of the country’s top foundations, where she planned and managed innovative granting projects, including negotiating budget development, brokering funding partnerships, and overseeing project start-up and performance. Ms. Stover managed a portfolio of 26 projects totaling more than $30 million.

Ms. Stover later served as the Chief Officer for Program Administration in the Trusts' Executive Office. In this role, she assisted the President with management, planning, administration, budgeting and communications for seven departments making grants totaling up to $200 million a year. Ms. Stover staffed the President on complex, cross-functional grantmaking projects, including the high profile effort to relocate the art collection of the Barnes Foundation. She also prepared special reports and grantmaking-related communications to facilitate decision making by the Board of Directors.

In addition, Ms. Stover has served as an assistant dean at Temple University, interim grants manager at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and a senior consultant at Booz-Allen and Hamilton.

Ms. Stover holds a Masters of Law and Social Policy as well as a Masters in Social Services (with a concentration in advocacy, planning and programs) from Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. She completed an executive education course on strategic planning and decision making from Wharton Business School.

Mark Land, Senior Managing Director, comes to Foundation Source with a background in financial services and philanthropy.

Before joining us, Mark served as Vice President, Trust and Investment Advisor at High Point Bank, where he focused on the expansion of personal trust and nonprofit service relationships within the Triad region of North Carolina. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Wells Fargo Bank's Center for Planned Giving. Other positions held include Senior Campaign Consultant at Whitney Jones, Inc., and Director of Alumni Relations at University of North Carolina School for the Arts.

Mark's philanthropic activities include the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, Samaritan Ministries in Winston-Salem, N.C., and the North Carolina chapter of the Partnership in Philanthropic Planning.

He was a ballet major at University of North Carolina School of the Arts prior to becoming a dancer with North Carolina Dance Theater.

Bill Brigden serves as Managing Director for the Midwest Region, based in Chicago. He works with private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and directly with donors regarding the benefits of a private foundation. He has a strong background in financial services and business development, working with high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutions.

Before joining Foundation Source, Bill worked for several of the nation’s top financial institutions in the roles of private banking and private client services. He licenses and certifications have included Series 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 24, 31, and 63, and 144a Specialist for Restricted Stock.

Bill graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science, College of Business Administration, specializing in finance and marketing. Community activities include the Executive Club of Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, the James Beard Foundation, and the Lincoln Park Zoo. He also participates in the Illinois Venture Capital Association and 1871, a nonprofit community incubator focused on supporting emerging entrepreneurs.

Josh Stamer serves as Managing Director for California, working with wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and donors who either have or are interested in establishing a private foundation. He has extensive experience in both financial and client services.

Prior to Foundation Source, Josh was the Western Regional Sales Director with Workiva, formerly WebFilings, where he successfully on-boarded and developed client partnerships with some of the nation's largest banks, insurance companies, and mutual and hedge fund organizations. Josh helped lead the company's entry into the financial services market on the West Coast, providing expertise in compliance, risk management, regulation, and business development. Earlier in his career, he was Strategic Sales Manager at Maxwell Systems, Inc., the largest privately held construction software company in North

America, and also held executive business development roles at DHL USA and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Josh graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach, and from the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia, where he focused on business management. He currently resides in Mission Viejo, CA.

Outside of work, he and his wife both work with the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and The Young Life Foundations.

Dennis Ladd serves as Managing Director for New York, working with private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and directly with donors regarding the benefits of a private foundation. He has extensive experience in both financial services and business development.

For much of his career prior to Foundation Source, Dennis worked with FactSet Research Systems, a company which provides financial data and analytic tools. Most recently, he served as FactSet’s Senior Vice President, Director of Sales for the New York Investment Management team where led a team of sales consultants and product specialists, oversaw the on-boarding of new clients, and enhanced existing client relationships. Earlier roles with FactSet included Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager and Vice President, Institutional Sales.

Dennis received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Vermont and currently resides in Stamford, CT. His volunteer activities have included University of Vermont Alumni Admissions Representative and Career Networker; Project Homefront, a volunteer-driven community home repair program; and a school mentoring program in Norwalk, CT.

Before joining Foundation Source, Justin worked in San Francisco as a Sales Consultant with LexisNexis, a global provider of workflow solutions for the professional services sector, partnering with AmLaw 200 firms and corporate clients. Prior to that, Justin was a sales consultant with Thomson Reuters West, an international publisher of industry intelligence for businesses and professionals.

Justin also practiced as an attorney in the state of Pennsylvania at the Harrisburg, PA firm Marshall Dennehey; the Philadelphia, PA firm Swartz Campbell; and the Public Defender’s Office of Lancaster County. He also served as counsel for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Murphy has a Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University.
