Katherine Holbrook Biotti, Senior Managing Director provides more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry in various senior management, business development and strategic positions.
Katherine provides expertise in private foundation administration and compliance to private wealth managers, investment advisors, regional trust companies, estate planning attorneys, tax advisors, existing foundations and affluent individuals.
Previously, Katherine served as the Vice President of eCommerce and Business Planning Services at Jackson National Life Insurance Company and Curian Capital, where she held responsibility for the strategic oversight of all web activities, business development, and other corporate initiatives.
Katherine also has worked for INVESCO Funds Group as well as Fidelity Investments, where she held leadership roles in Marketing and Operations in addition to her business-development role at the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund.Download vCard

Mary Ann Stover
Senior Managing Director
Mary Ann Stover serves as Foundation Source's Senior Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region, helping clients achieve their charitable goals through foundation administration services and customized philanthropic assistance. Mary Ann has extensive experience in philanthropy as well as management, planning and communications.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Mary Ann served as a Program Officer in the Venture Fund of The Pew Charitable Trusts, then one of the country’s top foundations, where she planned and managed innovative granting projects, including negotiating budget development, brokering funding partnerships, and overseeing project start-up and performance. Mary Ann managed a portfolio of 26 projects totaling more than $30 million.
Mary Ann later served as the Chief Officer for Program Administration in the Trusts' Executive Office. In this role, she supported the President with management, planning, administration, budgeting and communications for seven departments making grants totaling up to $200 million a year. Mary Ann staffed the President on complex, cross-functional grantmaking projects, including the high profile effort to relocate the art collection of the Barnes Foundation. She also prepared special reports and grantmaking-related communications to facilitate decision making by the Board of Directors.
In addition, Mary Ann has served as an assistant dean at Temple University, interim grants manager at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and a senior consultant at Booz-Allen and Hamilton.
Mary Ann holds a Masters of Law and Social Policy as well as a Masters in Social Services (with a concentration in advocacy, planning and programs) from Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Hugh Asher serves as Managing Director for the Southeast Region, based in Atlanta. He works with private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and directly with donors regarding the benefits of a private foundation. He has nearly 20 years of experience across multiple aspects of the financial services industry, focused on investment advising and portfolio management services.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Hugh was Managing Director at boutique investment management firm, Cedar Capital, where he had business development responsibilities across the Southeast. Prior to that, he was Regional Director for Morgan Stanley’s Consulting Group where he was responsible for the firm’s advisory sales in the Southeast Region collaborating successfully with the private wealth advisors. He spent six years with Smith Barney and Citigroup Global Markets as Divisional and Regional Director for the firm’s different investment and product platforms and has held financial advisor positions at Capital Guardian Trust Company and Salomon Smith Barney.

Ken Ward serves as Managing Director for the South Central Region, based in Dallas. He is responsible for building the brand and growing the firm’s business with responsibility for Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Ken has extensive experience is working with asset management firms in building awareness and demonstrating value to regional broker dealers, bank trust officers, and the RIA community.
Ken’s background includes over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning multiple aspects. Prior to joining Foundation Source, he was Senior Regional Vice President with Deutsche Asset Management and held similar roles at a number of firms, such as Gabelli and Co, Hatteras Alternative Investments, Oppenheimer Funds and Lord Abbett & Co.

Business Development Advisor
Julia DeMeo, Business Development Advisor, covers this territory out of the company’s Fairfield, CT headquarters. Julia works with high-net-worth individuals and families, along with channel partners, particularly private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and CPAs regarding the benefits of private foundations.
She joined the company in 2015 as an Associate Private Client Advisor and transitioned to Business Development Advisor in 2016.
Prior to Foundation Source, Julia served as Director of Development for Junior Achievement of Western Connecticut, where she led a wide range of fundraising, business development, and event management efforts. Josh Stamer serves as Managing Director for California, working with wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and donors who either have or are interested in establishing a private foundation. He has extensive experience in both financial and client services.
Prior to Foundation Source, Josh was the Western Regional Sales Director with Workiva, formerly WebFilings, where he successfully on-boarded and developed client partnerships with some of the nation's largest banks, insurance companies, and mutual and hedge fund organizations. Josh helped lead the company's entry into the financial services market on the West Coast, providing expertise in compliance, risk management, regulation, and business development. Earlier in his career, he was Strategic Sales Manager at Maxwell Systems, Inc., the largest privately held construction software company in North America, and also held executive business development roles at DHL USA and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Josh graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach, and from the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia, where he focused on business management. He currently resides in Mission Viejo, CA.

Dennis Ladd serves as Managing Director for New York, working with private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and directly with donors regarding the benefits of a private foundation. He has extensive experience in both financial services and business development.
For much of his career prior to Foundation Source, Dennis worked with FactSet Research Systems, a company which provides financial data and analytic tools. Most recently, he served as FactSet’s Senior Vice President, Director of Sales for the New York Investment Management team where led a team of sales consultants and product specialists, oversaw the on-boarding of new clients, and enhanced existing client relationships. Earlier roles with FactSet included Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager and Vice President, Institutional Sales.

Before joining Foundation Source, Justin worked in San Francisco as a Sales Consultant with LexisNexis, a global provider of workflow solutions for the professional services sector, partnering with AmLaw 200 firms and corporate clients. Prior to that, Justin was a sales consultant with Thomson Reuters West, an international publisher of industry intelligence for businesses and professionals.
Justin also practiced as an attorney in the state of Pennsylvania at the Harrisburg, PA firm Marshall Dennehey; the Philadelphia, PA firm Swartz Campbell; and the Public Defender’s Office of Lancaster County. He also served as counsel for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
