Your board may not have given much thought to the foundation’s disaster relief strategy. After all, devoting time and effort to planning for comparatively rare, one-off events might seem like a distraction from your regular corporate foundation activities. However, if a disaster occurs in your own backyard, your corporate foundation can and should be able to mount an effective response.
