FAIRFIELD, CT—October 1, 2015—Foundation Source, the nation’s largest provider of comprehensive services for private foundations, today announced the appointment of William Brigden as a Managing Director for its national business development team. Based in Chicago, IL, Mr. Brigden will concentrate his efforts on the Midwest region of the United States, utilizing his strong background in asset management and business development.
In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Brigden will work with private wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and directly with donors regarding the benefits of a private foundation. He assumes primary responsibility for Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, reporting to National Director of Sales Yvonne Dahl.
According to Ms. Dahl, “Bill’s background as a seasoned asset manager for high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutions, gives him a unique understanding of the synergies between wealth management and philanthropy. He is uniquely situated to expand Foundation Source’s presence in the vibrant Midwest market.”
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Mr. Brigden held senior roles at JP Morgan Private Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Bear Stearns, serving the needs of high-net-worth families and corporations as well as their advisors. Most recently, he opened the financial services vertical office for TriNet (NYSE – TNET), supporting family offices, hedge funds, private equity firms, and registered investment advisors. His licenses and certifications have included Series 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 24, 31, and 63, and 144a Specialist for Restricted Stock.

Mr. Brigden graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science, College of Business Administration, specializing in finance and marketing. His community service activities include the Executive Club of Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, the James Beard Foundation, and the Lincoln Park Zoo. He also participates in the Illinois Venture Capital Association and 1871, a nonprofit community incubator focused on supporting emerging entrepreneurs. He currently resides in Chicago, IL.
