Foundation Source Expands its Efforts to Help Advisors Better Serve their Philanthropic Corporate Clients
FAIRFIELD, CT – May 16, 2018–Foundation Source, the nation’s largest provider of comprehensive support services for private foundations, today announced the expansion of its continuing education (CE) series for financial advisors with the addition of a seminar on corporate foundations and corporate giving programs. The series is designed to help advisors build their knowledge around corporate philanthropy, expand their services for their corporate clients, and enhance established relationships with clients who are corporate executives.
The new seminar series begins with a high-level overview of the history and challenges of corporate philanthropy before delving into the distinct characteristics and needs of corporate giving programs and corporate foundations. It also explains the full range of corporate philanthropy services available to advisors through Foundation Source.
“Social responsibility is foremost on the agenda for corporate leaders, making philanthropy increasingly important to the financial advisor’s practice,” says Foundation Source Chief Distribution Officer Joseph Fuschillo. “In this climate, where consumers routinely demand that companies give back and demonstrate strong CSR initiatives, it’s not just the Fortune 500 that have a compelling interest in establishing corporate foundations. Our seminars inspire and educate advisors, helping them make philanthropic planning and corporate giving an integral part of their practice as they deepen relationships with company executives and potentially, bring new charitable assets under management.”
In addition to providing valuable information, these seminars also provide continuing education credits for financial advisors who hold CIMA®, CIMC®, and CPWA® certifications from the Investments and Wealth Institute (formerly IMCA). Continuing education credits are also available to CPAs in those states that recognize certification by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
Foundation Source has conducted a number of complimentary, in-person seminars this year. To find out whether an upcoming session is scheduled for your area, please email Steven DuBrava at email@example.com.
